Teaching!! YIPPEE!

I am very excited to announce that I will be substitute teaching in the Jurupa District starting January 2008. After the long process and all the mountains and hills I had to climb I finally did what I had to do to get in. I will admit ... I am very nervous but excited. It's no longer just a job, this is my career and with the help of family and friends and the help of the Lord I have reached a high point in my life. Continue to pray for me everyone because this is just the beginning of my life time journey. All my love.

A few words ...

I was just told that I was accepted back into the program at my College at California Baptist University. I am starting the Credential/Masters program in January and hopefully start substitute teaching by then. Excited? Yes I am but VERY nervous. I want to be the best teacher for all the children that come my way and I don't want to let not one child down. Children to me are a special gift from the Lord above and we are their Guardian Angel to help guide them in life.
Yesterday I went to The Little Gym of Riverside to visit shortly and make sure that my precious students were receiving their Thank you cards. It was AMAZING to see their little faces and here their sweet voices. When they called out my name it was like they were singing a song, it was music to my ears. The hugs, the hellos from their parents and just all their love was so incredible. To my students who read this ... I miss you but Mrs. Virginia loves you and keeps you in her heart. Keep having fun in gym class ... it's good for you.

Continuing my Education

Today I will be attending my orientation for
the Master/Credential program. I am excited
and can't wait to begin. My classes begin in
January 2008 and if all goes well I will be student
teaching my September of 2008! I owe a big thank
you to my husband, family, and a few friends who
eagered me on. Every thing seems to be happening
so quickly but I know the Lord will guide me through
my journey. I want to teach again so bad, I miss it.
I miss my students everyday at the Little Gym but I
will treasure the memories I made with all of them.
Thank you everyone for all of your support!! Pray for
me and wish me luck!

Baby Brother

This young man is my baby brother! He is someone I admire and am very proud of. He attends Poly High School, is on the Varsity Track team and in AP classes. Being the oldest of 5 children is FUN! Watching them all grow up is amazing and watching the baby of the family grow up is exciting but sad at the same time. Everyone ... meet my baby brother Albert.

Disneyland Fun!

For the first time ever I went to Disneyland during Halloween time. It was a blast!! I went with my sister and her boyfriend and of course with my husband! We arrived at Disneyland at 8am and did not get home until 1am. Boy was I tired but it sure was fun!! Finding Nemo was a great ride, I enjoyed it very much and I couldn't believe how Disney changed it up. Their animation under the sea was great! Well if you have not gone to Disneyland I highly recommend it! It is one of my favorite spots but it is quite expensive ... prices are ridiculous! I will post pictures so you can see how much fun I had!

A Sad Good Bye

October 19, 2007 was my last day at The Little Gym of Riverside and it was the hardest week ever! To say goodbye to my students and their parents was the hardest thing I had to do without crying. For many, their job is just a paycheck, for me it was a part of me; I gave my heart and soul to those around me. Although saying goodbye was very hard to do, it was done for good reasons. Being a part of my students lives was one of the greatest gifts the Lord and their parents blessed with me. The Lord is guiding me down another path but it is still a path of teaching and making a difference in the world. To my students at The Little Gym, I will miss you and I love you all but you will never be forgotten. I hope to see you all again one day but for now I just ask for everyone's blessings. Thank you for a wonderful and beautiful experience.

All my love!
